A wonderful affair

We were not ready for very high altitude treks but wanted our time near the world's highest, Mt Everest. The company we were suggested was Index Adventure. Kesab had the knowledge and was very helpful as well and together we decided the Everest Panorama trek. The trek took us to a maximum of slightly above 3,800 meters at the Everest View Hotel, around an hour and a half's walk from Namche Bazaar. The view from the hotel was stunning, Khumjung valley, Mt Khumbila and those massive Mt Everest as well as Lhotse among others. In Namche, Khumjung and Khunde villages, we got to know the Sherpa ways.  We also got to exchange stares with the yaks and the Jopkyos. Overall, a wonderful affair!
