Exceptional views of the Himalayas

We loved the tour! This was our first time in Nepal and had wanted a trek to altitudes not very high but also gave us that Himalayan experience. After consultation with our tour company Index Adventure, we planned the Ghorepani Poonhill Ghandruk trek accommodating our preferences. The walk, although at slightly lower altitudes (highest point being Poonhill at 3,210 meters), tested our strength with pretty sharp ups and downs. We went to Poonhill for a sunrise view, exceptional. No wonder it's considered one of the best vantage points for a view of the Himalayas. Ghandruk the Gurung village also offered the fantastic view of the Annapurna. We believe the service provided to us by our tour operator Index Adventure was superb. The hotels and food were good and we always felt safe and in good hands (Nepal overall feels safe). We also liked how the company planned and executed our trip right from pick up to the drop.
