Just the kind of tour we had wished for!

We chose the ten-day all in one tour with Index Adventure for our holiday this October. It included a tour of Kathmandu, the city of temples and palaces, a day trip to Pokhara, the lake city, a rafting adventure in the Trishuli River on the way to Pokhara, a jungle safari in the national park in Chitwan, and a visit to the revered Buddhist shrine in Lumbini before Chitwan. The whole trip allowed us a peek into ourselves as well as the beliefs of the locals in the shrines, an opportunity to pump up our adrenaline in the white waters, and an indulgence in the presence of the beautiful Mt Machapuchhre to the north while we enjoyed our coffee by Lake Phewa. The cool season in the month of October was also ideal, cool. In short, we had just the kind of tour we had wished for. We certainly recommend this trip with the very well organized Index Adventure
