Mardi himal trek

We had been to mardi himal trek from 16th to 20 October through index adventure, our tour guide prakash,porters sagar and santosh, four trekkers,including me .our trek started with a tata winger ride of 2 hours from pokhara to kande. It was a pleasant Wednesday morning and the weather was fine and sunny. It was a steady climb to Australian base camp via stairs and tall trees. We had our lunch at deurali and continued our climb to forest camp through dense forests and amazing scenery. Our trek guide prakash and his team was very friendly and cooperative, it was a hectic schedule for the first day and we had to walk in the dark with head torch to reach our destination forest camp by 8pm.the second day we covered the distance from forest camp to high camp within 8 hours, the journey through dense rhodedendron forests and sightings of snow capped mountains. On the 3rd day we woke up early and started our climb at 3 am, it was a steep climb with rocky patches and tested our endurance, but it was heartening to reach our mountain view point at 6am and the view of mardi himal and fishtail mountains was amazing. We were excited and happy to complete our trek and captured the moments in our mobile phone cameras which will be cherished throughout our lives. we thank mr keshab and his team of index adventure forhis excellent service and personal care.
