From Namche, we will reach out to Machharmo (4,470m) via Dole. As we trek further, we reach Gokyo (4,800m) where we can relish the views of Cho Oyu and explore Gokyo Lakes as well as hike up to Gokyo Ri (5,483m).  We depart from Gokyo and head towards Cho La Pass which is accompanied by alluring views of mountain peaks, flattering prayers flag and tricky trekking trails. After exploration of Cho La Pass, we will trek to Gorak Shep (5,170m) and hike up to Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Later, we will trek down to Namche via Tengboche and then attend our flight from Lukla.

After a good breakfast, we begin our trek to Thaknak. The route mostly consists of flat and gentle trails, making the walk smooth and easy. Mostly we walk around and across glaciers and we witness Tabuche and Cholatse moving just beside us.

Our representative will escort you to the Tribhuvan International Airport with a hope to see you soon in the future. Have a safe flight!

After an early morning breakfast, we take the same 35-minute scenic mountain flight back to Kathmandu. One of our representatives will escort you back to your hotel after your arrival in Kathmandu.

As we come near to the end of our journey, we take last glimpses of the Himalayas as we descend down towards Lukla through Phakding. On the horizon, we get to see the tiny settlements and villages for the last time. Overnight at Lukla.

We walk downhill from the same trail towards Tengboche and finally to Namche Bazaar. We pass through a Tibetan Monastery on our way. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

The expedition begins with a hike in the dark to catch a sunrise view from Kalapatthar. Watch out for the icy trails as it can be quite dangerous. A majestic sunrise view over the snowcapped mountains welcomes us and we stop to click a few more pictures. As we walk back to Pheriche, the trail is mostly downhill and flat. We still get a close-up view of Mt. Ama Dablam from the village of Pheriche.

After a warm meal, we begin our trek to one of the most popular places of our adventure. The trek is quite exhausting today, not because it contains any challenging trails but due to the high elevation. The trail is flat, wide and easy to walk in. The trail only becomes tough as we reach Gorakshep and walk towards Everest Base Camp. Trekkers must take extra care as the trail is rocky and might be slippery at times. Depending on the weather, trekkers may witness avalanches and glaciers on the other side of the Khumbu glacier. After we arrive at Everest Base Camp, we take a few pictures, rest and walk back to Gorakshep.

After a challenging day, we have a very short and easy walk to Lobuche today. The trail is mostly flat and gentle with beautiful sceneries surrounding us. Overnight at a lodge at Lobuche.

Today’s destination consists of the toughest trails as compared to trails of the overall journey. The trails are steep and have slippery icy patches that make the walk very challenging. However, slow and steady steps will surely take us to our destination. Our guide will motivate and help you through this difficult trek. Cho La is one of the highest peaks and we can see many prayer flags in the route. As we move further up, we witness the tiny settlements on the horizon far below. The pass gets narrower which makes it hard for us to walk. But after we cross the pass, the trails are mostly downhill and can get slippery in the afternoon as the ice melts. Slowly, we reach Dzongla, a small village with very few lodges.

One of our representatives will warmly greet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your hotel. After a quick rest and refreshments, our representative will brief you about the overall trip and the activities to be undertaken for the next day.

We wake up early and walk up to Gokyo Ri to catch the magnificent view of the sunrise from above the mountains. Gokyo Ri is famous, for it provides the most spectacular views to witness the Himalayas. We stop here to take a few pictures and soak in the beauty of nature. After this, we head back to Gokyo and if needed, we can explore the lakes around the area, but this is completely optional.

We get pumped up for one of the main treks of the Cho La Pass Trek. Our destination for the day is Gokyo Lake, which is renowned for its majestic high altitude blue-green lakes. The trail is decorated with beautiful views of Thamserku and Kantega mountain peaks and as we walk higher up we get to witness a pleasant view of the Cho Oyu Mountain from up-close. The trekkers must take extra care as few of the sections consists of icy patches making the trek more complicated and challenging. As we reach the Gokyo Lakes, we are surrounded by the most amazing panoramic view of the Himalayas.

After an early morning breakfast, we gather our strength to walk uphill towards Machharmo. The trail slightly takes steeper ascends, however, we are offered with more of the beautiful sceneries which makes it worth the hardship. The fact that Machharmo is the exact place where the people made their claim to have witnessed Yeti for the first time, it makes the visit more exciting. Overnight stay at Machharmo.

Our destination for the day is Dole, a small village in the Khumbu Region. The trail takes us up to the top of Namche where an army camp resides. From here, we take a climb to the Kyangjuma. However, the trail is quite flat and the walk is easier. The trails separate as we walk further up. One of the routes takes us to Gokyo Lake and the other takes up to Everest Base Camp. We take the trail to Gokyo Lake and as we climb towards it, we enjoy the scenic view of the Himalayas. From here, we walk through an uphill trail crossing tiny settlements as we reach to Dole.

An acclimatizing day is necessary for every trek in order adapt to the new altitude and environment. Namche Bazaar is a happening place with hotels, shops, souvenir shops, Sherpa people settlements, tea houses, etc. that tourists can explore in the rest day. There is a Khunde Hospital nearby which was set up by Sir Edmund Hillary that we can visit. We can also walk up to the Everest View Hotel that takes about an hour to reach. From the Everest View Hotel, we get to witness a panoramic view of the mountain vistas including Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Everest. Overnight at Namche.

After an early morning breakfast, we begin our journey towards Namche Bazaar with positivity and dedication. We make our way through swinging suspension bridges towards the Sagarmatha National Park, which protects and preserves the flora and fauna and the overall environment of the mountain. Namche is the main mountain junction in which the tourists and porters meet. As we arrive at the main market of Namche, we witness a hustling and bustling town with the majority of local Sherpa people making their living by setting up local shops and hotels. Overnight stay at a lodge in Namche.

The adventure starts as soon as the plane hits the tiny airstrip of the Lukla airport. We begin our trek from the foothill of the Everest region, passing across the villages in Lukla. We meet our crew and continue our walk. We walk alongside the majestic Dudh Koshi River and reach Phakding. Overnight stay at a lodge.
