You leave Tengboche to reach Dingboche from where you can get an unobstructed view of the snow-capped mountains like Everest (8848m), Ama Dablam (6812m), and Imja Tse (6189m) among others. You visit Gorakshep from where you trek to your destination, Everest Base Camp. Reaching the base camp, that is, the foot of the giant Everest will allow you to have a breathtaking view of the peaks of the Khumbu region, and of course, the Everest. Note: Weather in Everest is unpredictable so there is high chances of delayed as well as cancellation of the scheduled flight. The rate of flight delay and cancellation in high at Lukla. During your journey, if flight cancellation happens you have to spend an extra night at Lukla/Ktm (if you are coming back to Kathmandu or going to Lukla). So, we request to spare a couple of days if you are planning to trek in the Everest region so that you will not miss your international flight. Helicopter rescue can also an option but it cost you more.

EVEREST BASE CAMP RAPID TREK
Everest Base Camp Rapid Trek allows you to explore the tranquil and alluring vicinity of Everest region within the short period of time. The trek not only encompasses you through the spectacular view of majestic Mt. Everest (8,848m) but also bestows you with absolute landscapes and visit ancient Buddhist monasteries. Your journey begins with your flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. You will be trekking via Phakding towards Namche Bazaar; the touristic hub of Khumbu region. As you trek, you will visit Tengboche monastery; largest monastery in the Khumbu region. You will then be trekking towards Gorakshep passing through Dingboche and Lobuche. As the trek goes further, you will hike towards Everest Base Camp from Gorakshep where you can relish the stunning views of Mt. Everest just a few miles away from you. After your exploration of EBC, you will trek back to Lukla via Namche and catch your flight to Kathmandu. The major highlights of the trip are an exploration of ancient monasteries, alluring mountain views, tranquil trekking trails, scenic flight to Lukla and amazing landscapes.

Today, your official EBC trek starts as you start trekking from Namche towards Tengboche. Upon arrival, you will visit the sacred Tengboche Monastery (3,867m) which is the largest and the most sacred monastery of the region. The panoramic view of mountain peaks, especially, Mt. Everest (8,848m) is breathtaking. Mt. Amadablam (6,812m) and Everest’s adjacent peaks too will stun you with their beauty. Overnight in Tengboche.

You cross through the pastures where the yaks graze as you trek towards Lobuche. You will trek along the moraines of Khumbu Glacier (4,900m) with Kalapatthar (5,545m) and Pumori (7,161m) on the backdrop. You will then stay for the night in Lobuche.

Today’s trek will be a little demanding as you have to trek for long hours along a rocky trail. You will trek along with the Khumbu Glacier towards Gorakshep. From there, you will trek towards Everest Base Camp. After spending some time there, you will return back to Lobuche for the stay for the night.

Today, you trek crossing the Imja Khola en route to Namche. After walking about 8 hours through some steep descends, you reach Namche--the gateway to Everest. Overnight in Namche.

From Namche, you trek back to Lukla. You come down the same route you took before. Reaching Lukla will take about 6 hours of walking. You explore Lukla when you reach there, and stay for the night in Lukla.

This day, you will fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla Airport. You will reach Kathmandu in about 35 minutes, and explore Kathmandu in your free time. Overnight at the hotel.
