Annapurna Region Trekking

Annapurna is one of the frequently travelled trekking regions in the world that falls within the protection of the Annapurna Conservation Area, which is the largest conservation area in Nepal. It also owns the tenth tallest mountain globally, the Annapurna I (8,091m) and the Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), the Dhaulagiri and other members of the Himalayan Giants. A few of the more popular treks are Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani, Poon Hill, and the Mardi Himal trek.

The region presents a diverse landscape, including subtropical forests, terraced agriculture, alpine valleys, and dry uplands. This is where the culture of the Rich Gurung and Magars thrives and one gets into Pokhara. It stands out due to its flattery and scenic beauty, due to the biodiversity and culture.
