This short trek takes you to a wonderland that provides a splendid view of the Great Himalayas. You go to Pokhara and unleash the beauty that the City of Lakes has to offer. After driving to Kande from Pokhara, you start your Annapurna Panorama trek as you start ascending through stone steps to reach the Gurung village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a picturesque village made mostly of stone houses and alleys and provides you with an opportunity to explore the Gurung culture and tradition along with a close view of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks. From Ghandruk, you move on to Tadapani for a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. Following the stone steps throughout the way, you walk through the colourful rhododendron forests of Ghorepani with a backdrop of Annapurna massif. Upon reaching Poonhill, the majestic sunrise that you witness is sure to blow up your mind. You get an unobstructed panoramic view of Annapurna (8091m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), and Dhaulagiri (8167m) from Poonhill. Annapurna Panorama trek is guaranteed to fill your memory with the stunning panorama of the Himalayas and heartwarming hospitality of the Gurung locals.

Annapurna Panorama Trek Itinerary

Annapurna Panorama Trek bestows an opportunity to scrupulously witness the grandeur of magnificent mountain ranges accompanied by medieval Gurung villages with just basal trekking. This 9 days trek to Annapurna massifs initiates from Kande and reaching out to Pitam Deurali following the trek to Ghandruk; a charming Gurung village offering uplifted views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks. The lush green hills as you descend to Ghandruk with the warm hospitality of Gurung people is an enhancement to the natural beauty that you can venture amid your Annapurna Panorama Trek. Then the trek heads towards Tadapani via Chuile along the trails embellished with rhododendron forest and ends at Ghorepani-Poonhill (3210m); the highest point of the trek. The highlights of this trek are majestic sunrise/sunset views amid the iconic mountain ranges; Annapurna (8091m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), and Dhaulagiri (8167m), exploration to ancient Gurung village and insight to their lifestyle along with absolute landscapes. Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) are the best seasons to explore this magnificent Annapurna Panorama trek. 

After your arrival in Kathmandu, we will escort you to your hotel. We welcome you with our warmest greetings. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Your trip starts early from Kathmandu. After breakfast, we will drive to Pokhara via Prithvi Highway. It will take about 7 hours to reach. Pokhara is well known for its natural beauty. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can enjoy the evening at the lakeside. Overnight stay at the hotel.

We will drive you to Kande from Pokhara which takes about 2 hours. After reaching Kande, for about 4 hours of walking you reach Pitam Deurali (2,100m). Overnight stay at local hotel.

From Deurali you ascend on mostly stone steps until you reach the mystifying village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk offers a distinct view of the Himalayas; Annapurna (8,091m) and Machhapuchhre (6,993m). You can explore the Gurung community there, and also visit the Gurung Museum. Overnight stay at the Lodge.

After breakfast in Ghandruk, we will trek towards Tadapani (2630m). You will witness beautiful forests of rhododendron on your way to Tadapani. En route, you can witness the Himalayan ranges spread over the horizon. Overnight stay at the Lodge. 

Today, we trek to Ghorepani (2,860m) which offers the largest forest of rhododendrons. This trek doesn’t let you miss the view of Annapurna (8,091m) by any means. Ghorepani also serves you with the view of Nilgiri (2,637m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m) Hiunchuli (6,441m), and more. Overnight stay at the Lodge.

We will make an early trek to Poonhill (3,210m) to witness the majestic sunrise. After the best view of the sunrise from Poonhill, we will descend to Nayapul. We will walk to reach Nayapul then from there we will drive back to Pokhara. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.    

After breakfast, we will drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. In about 7 hours we will reach Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, we will explore the nearest markets from the hotel where you can buy souvenirs for your friends and family. Overnight stay at the hotel.

This is your last day in Nepal. We will drive you to Tribhuvan International Airport to connect you with your flight.
