Everest Region Trekking

The Everest Region is located in the north-eastern part of Nepal, which is a part of Sagarmatha National Park, also known as the Khumbu Region. It is where Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, and the highest mountain peak in the world, Mount Everest (8,848.86 m) are situated. Trekking to Everest base camp, Gokyo Lakes and the three passes are some of the attractions in the region.

Mountaineering has exposed the people of the Sherpa community to a wealthy culture and tradition, with Tengboche monastery as one of the main attraction sites. Lukla is the highest point of entry, and Namche Bazaar is the busiest. It has various wildlife, glaciers and spectacular scenery, which makes it a world destination.
