The Kyanjin Gompa
Hands down! Kyanjin Gompa is our centerpiece destination in the Langtang Valley trek, a major attraction not to be left out. Is it a refreshing rural enclave, a side excursion destination, or a place famous for its culinary or panoramic views? It turned out to be all of them. Kyanjin Gompa is a relic of a 1700s Buddhist monastery (Gompa) overlooking the valley cradle of Kyanjin. The monastery is a coveted Himalayan museum that has preserved the dust of memories in its every recess and corner. It also reflects the influence of Tibetan culture, giving sense to the valley's closeness to Tibet. If you're eager to try traditionally made hygienic Yak Cheese, it’s the best available place around the Langtang area. The locals there are cheeky and friendly. So, they might even offer you a delicacy.
Langtang National Park
Langtang Valley is nestled in the protected area of Langtang National Park, Nepal’s first Himalaya Park, conserving endemic flora and fauna in their best form. With roots dating back, the sight offers a dynamic forest zone from lively rhododendron forest, oak, maple, and cedar, a view worthy of reverence. With teeming natural habitats, it is home to rare animals like Rhesus monkeys (langur), Red panda, and Himalayan Tahr.
Picture-Perfect Panorama

The hike, which took us 2 days, will be finished in only a day. In any case, the trail gets steep, so we should be cautious. Similarly, we should also stop by the Langtang village and accumulate its majestic essence to remember.
We will advance from the Lama Hotel to the commencement point, Syabru Bensi. This will be another simple trek downwards of around 5-6 hours. Be careful on the way down.
