Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Scenic ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi(1462m) | Time: 7 to 8 hrs
It will be the day to embark on the Langtang Trek 7 Days journey. You’ll sit on a comfortable bus seat for 7 to 8hrs by enjoying the scenic bus ride. The view includes beautiful hills and mountains above and fast-flowing rivers down the highway. And this way you’ll land yourself at the gateway of Langtang Region Treks, Syabrubesi. First thing first, you’ll do the check-in at the lodge of Syabrubesi. Later, get some fresh air and view by walking around the Syabrubesi

Day 02: Hike from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel(2420m) | Time: 6 to 7 hrs
Eat tight breakfast today, as you’ll kick-off the first trek day of 7 Days Langtang Trek. You’ll start walking by going along with the Langtang River. Then cross the shaking suspension bridge over the river to reach the other side of the river. The continuous ascend and descend will start from here on. Then the climb takes you to Bamboo(1960m) where you will walk over the forests of Bamboo and Rhododendrons.
This bamboo forest also inhabits fauna like martens, monkeys, red pandas and mountain black bears. Thereafter, you will ascend towards Rimche(2400m), a settlement with few houses. And moving further you will reach your final destination of the first trek day, Lama Hotel(2420m).

Day 03: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village(3307m) | Time: 6 to 7 hrs
The second day of 7 Days Langtang Trek itinerary involves a good climb. Starting with the steep forest walk, you'll get to the edge of the Langtang River. Then you’ll arrive at Gumanechok, a horse stable. Then walking over the beautiful grazing land of Yaks which is never enough. Alongside this, the view of the Mt. Langtang(7246m) is always at the backdrop, all day long.
Further on, you’ll touch down several watermills and prayer wheels before arriving at Langtang village. The Langtang village(3307m) is a major settlement for the Tibetan influenced Tamang culture. Flat roof beautiful houses are all over the place and the fields of wheat, buckwheat, barley occupies the rest of the place. You can pass your time by revolving around the village and observe the lifestyle of the Tamang’s.

Day 04: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjing Gompa(3870m) |Time: 3 to 4hrs
Kyanjing Gompa is the highest reach of this entire 7 Days Langtang Trek. Today, you’ll have to carry a water bottle alongside and drink it regularly to avoid any symptoms of the Altitude sickness. Kyanjing Gompa trails are the most beautiful, over the yak pastures land and very near to the Mt. Langtang, Mt Ganchempo. Also, you will pass via the Chortens and large mani walls. If you are a cheese lover, this place can be heaven for you.
The Kyanjing area is famous for its Yak milk made Cheese and Curd. Have cheese as much as you can and also pack it for home. The Kyanjing Gompa is in the midst of the beautiful high altitude valley, surrounded by the big hills and mountains. Other than mountain views, this area provides a bright display of Buddhist culture and art. Here you can also explore and have insight into the mixed Tibetan-Tamang culture.

Day 05: Trek back to Lama Hotel(2500m) from Kyanjing Gompa| Time: 6 to 7hrs
Fifth-day was the end of the one-way Langtang Trek. From this day, you will march back for the home return, so at first, you’ll trek back to Lama Hotel(2500m). After the morning visit of Kyanjing Gompa, you’ll start to fall back by retracing the route towards Lama Hotel.
Passing via the same route of Langtang village, Horse stable, and Langtang river, you’ll arrive back at Lama Hotel. If you have missed earlier views of these palaces, this return trek is the time for exploration. Most of today's track will be descending, enjoy the views, and fall thoroughly.

Day 06: Trek back to Syabrubesi(1462m) from Lama Hotel | Time: 4 to 5hrs
This will be the last trekking day of the entire Langtang Trek. Fall down just the way you want to, by resting, by interacting with locals or by enjoying the scenic landscapes and mountains. It will be the shortest trek day of 7 days Langtang Trek itinerary, which takes only 4 to 5 hours of walk.
Re-walking on the earlier footprints of your shoes you will reach Syabrubesi. If you are tired of rural life and want to reach Kathmandu as soon as possible, you have the option. The option to book the private jeep/car and reach Kathmandu within 5 to 6 hrs. But, if you want more of the village life, rest at the lodge and stroll around. Make sure this is the last day and get most of it.

Trekkers Information Management System(TIMS) card:
